The Speed Test
Beautiful hair shouldn’t take hours. We use a robotic arm in a controlled environment to understand how hair dryers perform in different temperature and humidity conditions (that's your bathroom!). This system allows us to ensure the optimum speed level is created for your Zuvi Halo Hair Dryer, meaning less drying time and better results.
The Moisture Test
Through hundreds of experiments at our Hair Lab, Zuvi has created a new way to dry strands that leaves locks smooth and styled, but not frizzy or damaged. By understanding the relationship between water content and micro-scale changes from applied heat, we are able to adjust heat levels of your Zuvi Halo Hair Dryer to leave hair 109% more hydrated than when dried with other hair dryers.
The Smooth Test
No one wants frizz. At the Zuvi Hair Lab, we've created the first ever testing machine to mimic the effects of running your comb through your hair. Calculating the resistance force allows us to build your Zuvi Halo Hair Dryer that leaves your hair 17% smoother than when using other hair dryers.
The Shine Test
We love shine. To test the impact of hairdrying on hair luster, we use a carefully designed tool consisting of uniquely positioned LED lights and high resolution cameras to detect variations in light reflected off hair in a dark room. Our testing proved that by using the Zuvi Halo Hair Dryer, your hair reflects more directional light (38% more shine!) than overdried hair with a flaking cuticle structure.
The Strength Test
Hydrated hair means stronger hair. Here at the Zuvi Hair Lab, we've designed a strength test to measure the hair pliability. The result? Hair strands are 9% stronger when using the Zuvi Halo Hair Dryer versus other dryers.
